Rocket and Space Vehicle Models

All are model
rockets, the space shuttles, and the futuristic space craft are part of an extensive line of high quality models - all ready for display in your home or office. Each
faithfully reproduces the original craft and each is individually scaled to fit
comfortably on a desk. For example the famous F4E Phantom fighter is scale 1:45
(1/45th the size of the original plane), resulting in an 11" x 18"
footprint. 747-200, Air Force One, is scaled 1/170, and has a 14.5" x
16.5" footprint. The magnificent models have long been a favorite of airlines
and military organizations and are now available to the general public.
Each model begins with a select "core" of fine-grained
Philippine Mahogany. Skilled craftsmen hand carve, join and sand the core and wings.
The deep, rich finish that distinguishes these models from all others is created by
the meticulous application of up to thirty-five layers of high grade enamel. The
artists then hand paint all the details - hatches, insignia, special markings, etc.
Absolutely no decals are used. The result is a beautiful wooden sculpture that you will be
proud to own and display.
All propellers are made of wood - absolutely no plastic - and
will rotate. Swing wing aircraft have been faithfully reproduced and the wings move
the exact same degree of arc as the original plane. Each model comes with its own
display stand.
These models require very little special care. We recommend
that you keep the out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat
and cold. Repeated use of rough paper and even paper towels may result in minute
scratches to the glass-like finish, so dust with a soft cloth. |
